Covestro Technical Center

The Covestro Technical Center for Coatings, Adhesives and Specialties in Tangerang Selatan, Indonesia, was inaugurated in January 2017.

The center caters to individual customer needs from across ASEAN, Australia, and New Zealand, especially from the footwear, construction, and wood and furniture industries. The technical center helps to address market needs and trends by speeding up the localization of formulations, and by providing on-time technical support for its key industries.

Customized solutions, such as raw materials for coatings for the construction industry, or for adhesives for sports shoes, are developed in close cooperation with our customers. Apart from application development, the center also focuses on sharing knowledge through customer training.

Our office is centrally located, and offers supply chain as well as business support functions for our polyurethane and polycarbonates business across the region.

The three business units; Coating Adhesive and Specialities, Polycarbonate, Polyurethane, are represented in the country by Covestro (Thailand) Company Limited.

Our main activities in Vietnam include sales and technical support, research and development, product quality control, product marketing consultancy, and sales and after-sales consultancy.
